Tina Hosts Mardi Gras Party to benefit the Burn Institute
On February 28th 2009, Tina Mickelson and her firefighter husband, Eric Topacio, hosted the 17th Annual San Diego County Credit Union, "Share Your Heart" Mardi Gras Party, to benefit the Burn Institute.
This is an organization that is very dear to their hearts because, as a fire fighter and Burn Institute volunteer, Eric has seen first-hand the individuals whom the Burn Institute helps. During the party, which was held at the House of Blues, guests took part in silent and live auctions, enjoyed music from the Bill Magee Blues Band and Raphael Saadiq, while indulging in southern-inspired menu items and drinks, all for a great cause.

Tina Plays in Tournament to Benefit Ovarian Cancer Research
Tina graciously donated her time and talent in a charity golf tournament to benefit ovarian cancer research. Co-sponsored by Callaway and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, the charity tournament featured notables such as Gary Player, Tim Allen, Kevin Sorbo, Johnny Miller and George Fellows, the CEO of Callaway Golf.
